How much does an Art Lawyer make? & How common are those jobs? What division in Law school would get there?

What should I do in Law School to become one?

There is a difference between an art lawyer and an entertainment lawyer. An art lawyer helps individual artists who usually do not have much money and don’t have enough to pay a reasonable amount to a lawyer.

An entertainment lawyer works for a big firm and represents studios and stars. These lawyers start at over 100K per year and are soon making 7 figures. If you want to be one of these, go to a top law school, preferably in California, get top grades, be a member of the best law review at the law school, take lots of business law and tax classes and get hired by a major Beverly Hills law firm which has a large entertainment law department. The competition is very difficult. There are probably only a few hundred lawyers who specialize in this field.
