Ceramic Art Shows

ceramic art shows
Anyone know some art shows that like ceramic work?

i noticed ceramics tends to be an ignored medium, especially since there are production potters rolling around

anyone know some upcoming shows i can throw my work into? KC hates me :P

you have to check your local shows. Particularly at the beginning you want to avoid shipping fees.
Look for local calls for artists.
And while there are shows which clearly prefer 2D the majority of shows are quite happy to get some 3D pieces. Though unless it is a craft show they won’t take plates, pots and coffee mugs. Purely utilitarian ceramics will not be of interest to any art show unless they have a craft component. But getting a sculptural ceramic piece into an art show is not really more difficult than a painting. Given the standard of some I’ve seen included in shows I would say it must be easier.
