How do I cut copper, aluminum foil?

I have a piece of wall art with the luxury of copper or aluminum. Basically I cut the small pieces, so that the final draft is like the trunk and leaves of the tree. The piece is approximately 2 m high x 1 m wide. Then I want to do A copy of the light so that light shines on the part of the cut. I have no idea what tools you need to do this. Is there enough thin, metal blade can be used if there is a better way. To buy a piece of this will cost several thousand dollars and I have go alone. Or, what can I do wood and then sprayed with something looks like a metal finish? Any ideas? Valley …… it's good I have a hero complex. I'm always on the challenge, however, lol
