Information and advice on computing capabilities for a photo site?

I'm launching a new free Web site to access code open for teaching digital photography skills. This is quite extensive and includes computer systems configuration, repair and maintenance – Essential for anyone doing digital photography, but not the main activity in terms of image. We are looking for help to extend and expand our products teach people to be better digital photographers … This information can be sent back to YA and other forums, is free and open source. Is anyone willing to contribute time, articles, illustrations, editorial advice, especially in computer skills section? Re: http://www.image-nut.com (See Computer skills under Tutorials) Thanks!

I've been an IT professional since 1980, mostly in midrange systems from IBM (if you do not know what are, do not ask because you probably never heard of them), but an important part of which must be integrated with PC-type computers and networking systems. I'm pretty current Windows operating system for everything except Windows Vista, because companies are usually not eager to adopt new versions of the OS once they get a certain version work .. I have taught basic computer courses as an adjunct professor at the university level. I would be happy to contribute some time to this effort if you can provide guidance for the requirements and the approximate timing for delivery. I am interested for three reasons, first, I like helping people discover and enjoy computers and photography, secondly, I would like some of my technical writing assessed and criticized and, thirdly, I would like to establish my credentials to produce newsletters, articles, possibly for profit as part of a retirement business, "through my photography and computer training. Contact me with details if this sounds promising for your needs.
