art school rentals
what are some options for someone who is a high school drop out, and does not have a paying job?

i am a 19year old male who is currently living with my parents, i do not have my drivers license. i was home educated till 8th grade but gave up when my mother opened a wedding supply rental company, i don’t get payed and i work long and hard hours for people who think they are helping by complaining about how we do things(mother-of-the-bride-zilla’s lol). its seems that i wont be able to continue my education so long as i live with my parents do to my mothers workaholic nature, so ill need to know some of my options for that. my goal is to go to a culinary arts school, and maybe open several restraints. what are some of my options?

Go for your G.E.D. Also, apply for a job where you get paid, even if it’s McDonald’s. Maybe a local bakery or restaurant. Save as much money if you can. Since you don’t drive, you will have to depend on public transportation for work and school unless you can get your parents or a friend to help you out. Once you are ready to graduate, you may be able to qualify for a scholarship or student loan. If you don’t have the money right away, work and save it up. Then take your basic courses at a community college, English, math, etc. Once you spend 1 or 2 years at a community college, apply at a trade, tech school or college/university where you can transfer your credits. Check with your local university, hospital or school board. They often need people to work in the cafeteria/restaurant. This would help you get more background and experience. A culinary arts school may be the thing for you, but you may be able to pick up some credits at a local technical school to help you in the culinary arts school.
