What work of art is the best?
I'm a college student still trying to figure out what I do …. the only thing I can honestly say I love the art. I am good at drawing, oil pastels, painting, etc, but I have a secure career. I was thinking about going into graphic arts, or any type of art with the computer (as it is the direction everything goes.) But what is the difference between Graphic Arts, Digital Media, Web Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, Marketing, etc?? What would be best for someone who is good at drawing realistic?
if this was five years ago, I would say that graphic design. now there are too many graduates each year. animation, motion graphics and website development / design demand now. many companies are moving to the Internet, and many are making an animation / video advertising material. pick up a registration book in your school (or visit a website an art school) and see what each one of the major courses required. then you can figure out what is best for you.
